Yard Sale Fundraiser

Our 2013 Goodwill Baptist Ethiopian Team put together a yard sale.  We were assisted by several friends and we are very greatful for all the help.  We also want to thank everyone who donated items for the yard sale.  We had everything from the bathroom sink (really) to a small little glass vase.  We started setting up on Friday from 7pm until 10pm.  We all  got up early Saturday morning and began getting the clothes put out.  Our Yard Sale was from 7am until 1pm.  We were all very excited and surprised that we made over $1000.  This money goes toward the seven of us getting to Ethiopia.
So THANK YOU to everyone who helped!!

Our group getting items out on Friday evening.
You wouldn't believe how much stuff we had to sit out.
I don't think any of us realized how much had been donated.

Abby helping me set up the table of kitchen items.

We even had our very own Ethiopian, Micah, helping us set up for the yard sale.

Abby and Sandy setting up house hold items.

Our friend and fellow church member is going this time to Ethiopia, along with her husband Chris.
I'm so excited that they have been called to go back with us.

Elizabeth, Abby and Sandy getting clothes put out early Saturday morning.
We were luck that it wasn't too hot and it didn't rain.

We had some time to chat and play when we didn't have customers.
Derek and Greg take time to talk about "guy stuff".

Miss Sarah Bear and D hanging out together.

Derek isn't much of a yard sale guy plus I don't think he every really woke up.

Thanks Again for everyone's support for our Goodwill Baptist Ethiopian Team!!
